Monsters abound in (Double) Exposure Therapy

Bobby Gordon's (Double) Exposure Therapy photography project combines people's portraits with images of the monsters who loom large in their lives. This exhibit will be on display at the Courtyard by Marriott for Festival of Monsters, Oct. 14-18, 2026.

Similar to how difficult it is to tease apart two superimposed photos, it is all but impossible to separate ourselves from the fearful monsters that capture our imagination. We realize they are a part of our psyche revealing deep truths about ourselves, if we have the courage to face them rather than run the other way.
